Independence and Hope!
Over the past years, Majaliwa (not his real name) was confined to his home . Without a wheelchair, he could not attend school or take part in everyday activities with other children. His mother struggled to carry him, and daily life became increasingly difficult for both of them.
This situation changed through the KidsCare Wheelchair Project. With the support of orthopedic specialists, Majaliwa was assessed and provided with a custom-made wheelchair designed to meet his specific needs.
The impact has been life changing. Now, He is back in school after months at home. He is smiling again, interacting with friends, and regaining his independence. His mother says the wheelchair has not only eased her daily burden but also restored her son’s confidence and joy.
For Majaliwa and his family, a wheelchair means more than mobility it represents dignity, opportunity, and hope for a brighter future.
